Human beings have progressed greatly because of our ability to work together. A healthy life group is one that “Reaches Together” toward a shared goal and vision. With good leadership and attitudes, a life group can accomplish much. Genesis 11:1–9 gives a negative example of unity, yet it still teaches us valuable lessons on working together and avoiding common pitfalls.

About this series

Someone once said that a church’s celebration service is like a window to the church. It is where newcomers get a glimpse of the people and activities in a church. If the service is a window, then the life group is the heart of the church. It reflects the inner workings of a church.
• The life group is where we build strong covenant relationships.
• The life group is where we learn to obey the Bible in our daily lives.
• The life group is where we grow spiritually in following our Lord Jesus Christ.
In this series, we will look at five dimensions that make a healthy life group.
Let’s together aspire for vibrant life groups that honour the name of Jesus as we reach up to God, reach deep in spiritual maturity, reach in to love each other, reach out to the unsaved, and reach together towards one vision!
