Part 2-4 Storing Up Treasures
Matthew 6:19-24
Ps Laurence Lee
In every one of us is a hoarder. We could try to explain it in many ways, but Jesus boils it down to the heart:
Matthew 6:21 “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
Jesus didn’t tell us to not “store up treasures” at all. But he teaches us to “store up treasures in heaven.” Let’s have an eye that is full of light and serve only one Master: Jesus.

About this series
Join us for a four-part sermon series, "Giving from the Heart," that will impact our faith and lives. Many of us worry about money and often hold back from giving because we feel we don't have enough. But we serve a God who provides for our needs and gave His only Son to save us. The real issue isn't the size of our bank balances but the condition of our hearts. Together, let's respond in faith to God and give from our hearts.
