About this series
In this series, we explore the timeless call found in Deuteronomy 6: “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.”
These words, known as the Shema, were spoken by Moses to the Israelites as they stood at the edge, before crossing into the Promised Land. It was his reminder to them to put God first in every area of their lives, so that God would continue to bless and watch over them.
The Shema also applies to us today. It teaches us to centre our lives on God, bring His truths into our homes, and live as God's people who stand out in a world.
Let’s answer the Shema’s call—to love God wholeheartedly, remember His faithfulness, and inspire the next generation to do the same!
