Church membership is not just a formality but an important expression of our identity as part of God's household, contributing to the growth of His spiritual temple. Ephesians 2:19-22 reveals that believers are no longer outsiders but members of God’s household. Church membership, although not explicated mentioned, is emphasised in the Bible in the areas of commitment and accountability in the local church. As living stones in God’s temple, we are called to grow together, supporting one another in faith, love, and service.
