Part 4-4 The Fall of the Fool
Ps Laurence Lee
Today in our message, we will talk about how Samson's foolish actions and decisions led to his tragic end, and lessons we can learn from this story. This concludes our sermon series on the Great Anti Hero.
About this series
Samson started with great promise. The nation needed a deliverer, and Samson was meant to be that man. God gave him supernatural strength to fight against Israel's oppressors, the Philistines. But Samson didn't live up to his calling. He fell to his own weakness and foolishness. The irony is that the strongman turned out to be an anti-hero. In this series, we will see the fall of Samson and the futility of putting our hopes on human heroes. We will turn our attention to God who is still at work despite the the failures of man.
