The word, “therefore” is a link between Romans 1-11 and Romans 12 onwards. What we learned from Romans 1-8 is that we have been saved by grace and through faith in Jesus Christ. By “God’s mercy,” He has made us righteous, even though we were sinners. What should be the correct response to God’s mercy on our lives? It is to “offer” ourselves “as a living sacrifice.”

In Romans 1-8, we learned that believers become righteous, through faith in Christ. Now that we know these things, what is next? How do we move from knowledge to practice? What does righteous living look like? This mini-series, based on Romans 12:1-8, begins to answer these questions.
