FOREWORD FROM SENIOR PASTOR

Dear all,

Welcome to Empower Conference 2023, a time of seeking God together and becoming empowered by His Spirit to accomplish His will in the world.

Towards the end of 2022, our key leaders gathered to pray and seek God for 2023, and we thank God that He gave us clarity on what to focus on. In particular, we sensed that God wants a glorious church that lasts the end times. This is His desire for every church! The glorious church is one that equips to empower and release end-time ready disciples. The world is not getting better. Jesus Christ is coming back soon. And as the days get darker, the church must be ready to shine brighter - with the glory of the Lord!

So, I invite you to participate fully in this conference and may God's glory rise upon all of us.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS

Wilson Lim

Pastor Wilson Lim was appointed President of Hope International Ministries in 2021 and served as an International Elder since 2010. Wilson is also founding and senior pastor of Hope Church, a multi-ethnic, multi-site church based in Brisbane, Australia. He also oversees HIM churches in Oceania and its mission efforts into different regions of the world. Wilson is recognised for his balanced, in-depth teaching and engaging-style of expository preaching. He also holds a PhD in Engineering and a MTh in Applied Theology. His passion is teaching, equipping leaders and building the church.

Lai Ling Lim

Pastor Lai Ling co-founded Hope Church and is known for her leadership in intercession and prophetic ministries in HIM and Hope Church. She is also passionate about pastoral care and counselling. Lai Ling assists Wilson in his International Elder’s role. She was a certified accountant and holds Diplomas in Biblical Studies & Ministry, and Counselling.

* Leaders Gathering on 25 Feb, Sat is open to all leaders. Breakfast orders are based on the number of responses received as at 10 Feb.

* EC Carnival on 26 Feb, Sun is for EC23 delegates only and not open to public / non-delegates. There will be no Sunday Service on 26 February 2023.
